Empowering Through Stories and Leadership
Sara Murdock inspires change and innovation in healthcare, transforming personal experiences into impactful advocacy.

Sara Murdock is an award-winning pharmacist, speaker, and community leader.
Named the 2025 VIC Pharmacist of the Year and National Outstanding Community Pharmacist, she is recognised for transforming pharmacy services, championing community health, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Sara’s story began far from the pharmacy counter. At 12 years old, she fled war-torn Iraq with her family, arriving in Australia as a refugee. That early experience of resilience and hope continues to shape her mission: to make healthcare accessible, dignified, and deeply human.
Today, Sara leads professional services at Pharmacy 777 Pascoe Vale, contributes to national pharmacy innovation, and serves as a Rotarian and Chair of Community Services. Beyond the titles, she is a proud single mother of two, whose work is guided by compassion, courage, and community.
